Terms of Service (Laura’s Print Shop)

Overview

By placing an order with Laura’s Print Shop (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all products and services sold through our Shopify store, including document printing, posters, photo prints, business cards, postcards, and lamination.

Made-to-order printing

Most of our products are custom-made for each order (printed and/or laminated after you place the order). Because of this:

·       All custom print & lamination orders are final sale once production begins.

·       If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. Changes are only possible before production starts.

File uploads and customer responsibility

If your order includes a file upload:

·       You are responsible for ensuring your file is correct (spelling, layout, sizing, bleeds, margins, orientation, and chosen paper/finish).

·       You are responsible for the print settings you choose (size, color vs B&W, single/double-sided, paper type, photo size, lamination option).

·       We are not responsible for results caused by:

o   Low-resolution images, blurry photos, poor scans

o   Incorrect file size or page setup

o   Color differences between screens and printed output

o   Files submitted with incorrect bleed/margins for trimming

Color and print differences

Printed colors can vary from what you see on a screen due to monitor settings and printing limitations. Minor color variation is normal and is not considered a defect.

Print samples (rare)

We do not normally provide proofs. In some cases, we may share a photo of a print sample to confirm paper type, finish, or general appearance. Sample photos are for reference only and may not show exact color or final results. Customers are responsible for confirming their file, size, and options selected at checkout.

Quality issues and reprints

If we made a mistake (wrong size, wrong paper/finish, wrong quantity, major defect, or damage), we will offer one of the following:

·       A reprint, or

·       A store credit, or

·       A refund, at our discretion depending on the situation.

To report an issue:

·       Contact us within 24 hours of pickup/delivery, and

·       Provide clear photos and your order number.

Laminations

Lamination is permanent. Once an item is laminated, it cannot be returned due to:

·       Customer file errors

·       Normal minor imperfections that do not affect use

·       Expected color differences

If there is a lamination defect caused by us (bubbles/creases/peeling beyond normal handling), contact us within 24 hours and we’ll review for a rework/reprint.

Pickup orders

Most orders are pickup. You will receive a notification when your order is ready.

·       Please bring your order confirmation (or order number).

·       Unclaimed orders may be held for a limited time due to storage space.

Pricing and payments

All prices are shown in CAD unless stated otherwise. Taxes are added where required.
Payment is processed at checkout through Shopify Payments (and any other enabled payment methods).

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, missed deadlines) related to print orders. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected item(s).
